Birmingham Conservatoire Saxophone Department presents a programme of contemporary music, which explores the more tangible side of performance. By considering the possibility of a visual representation of music, performers will integrate the use of space, movement, text and imagery to offer a more vivid interpretation of works for soloists, quartets and saxophone ensemble.
The concert is named after and includes Luke's saxophone octet The Night The Buses Died. The work was inspired by a short story, of the same name, writen by Etgar Keret.
